Congratulations Pippa!

It has to be said that Pippa Crossland is one extraordinarily special girl!
I first met Pip when she was 6 years old. Her mum, Debbie asked if I thought she was too young to start lessons. I always feel that you are neither too young, nor to old to sing, but how long someone so young can concentrate for, is a different matter. One of the first things I say to any new pupil is, “Tell me a little bit about yourself and why you want to be here”. Pip animatedly and excitedly replied, “My name is Pippa Crossland and I just LOVE singing!” This brought a huge smile to my face. The next thing I asked her was to sing for me. To be honest, I was expecting her to sing a nursery rhyme in a high squeaky voice
But to my amazement, this warm, rich, velvety, deep, voice came from nowhere and sang the classic Nina Simone song, Feeling Good! All I could do was sit there with my mouth open!
Every week, Pippa never ceases to amaze me. She make me laugh and she makes me cry (happy tears!) She gives 1,000,000% every time. She is every tutors dream!
But that’s not all!!! Pippa has just got the lead role in…

This is such a huge achievement! She was accepted on her talent, merit, character, personality, guts and determination. Pip was the youngest person to audition. She came up against many girls who had been at dance and drama schools. There are thousands of hopeful applicants every year wanting to get the lead role in any major musical production and this time round Pippa Crossland was chosen!
Was it fate, destiny or just pure coincidence that Pippa held her 7th Birthday Party at our studio and recorded…’Tomorrow’
It is always an honour and a privileged to teach you Pip! I am so very proud of you!
I’ll be on the front row…crying (happy tears!)
WELL DONE! YOU DESERVE IT!
